A female customer was using a self-service pump to fill her vehicle with fuel as her three children waited in the car. The gas station attendant was not at his station. The driver was reading the price on the gas pump when the pump clicked off. At that moment, the nozzle popped loose from the tank-fill tube on the car and sprayed gasoline into her eyes resulting in pain, $2,000 in medical bills plus fright and emotional trauma to both the victim and her children, witnesses of the incident. This personal injury settlement was for $25,000.
ANKLE INJURY

A forty-four year -old man was attempting to purchase some hunting dogs from the defendant. While on the premises of the defendant, the client stepped into a hole, twisting his ankle and injuring his Achilles tendon. The client had not been warned of this dangerous condition. LIFE INSURANCE POLICY
A mother and father took their 18-year-old son to an insurance agent to purchase a life insurance policy. That same agent had previously obtained an SR-22 for the young man when his license had been suspended. The agent filled out the application for life insurance and checked that he had not had any speeding tickets or his license had not ever been revoked or suspended. When the young man was subsequently murdered, the insurance company refused to pay on the grounds that he had made a fraudulent representation on his application for insurance and they would not have written the policy had they known that he had a bad driving record. Suit was filed against the agent and the insurance company both under contract and under the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act. The insurance company settled prior to trial for the limits of the life insurance policy. Represented by Ricky Boren.
WORKER'S ARM CAUGHT IN FARM IMPLEMENT

A 62-year-old farm worker in Henry County got his arm caught in a manure spreader drive shaft causing severe damage to his arm and shoulder. A safety guard on the drive shaft had been removed. Due to this injury, the worker was forced to retire. Settlement was made with medical providers to reduce their payments 50 and there was a total settlement of the injured farmer in the amount of $72,500.00.
